Bangladesh Navy's Tuhin Shikdar and Mirona Khatun became champions in the men's and women's sections in a mini marathon titled NRB Bank Independence Day Marathon yesterday.

Abdul Hai of Bangladesh Air Force and Abdur Rahim of Bangladesh Navy finished second and third respectively in the men's section as the marathon ended at Manik Mia Avenue after starting from Army Stadium in Banani. Reshmi Akter and Rabeya Akter of Bangladesh Police finished second and third respectively in the women's section.
