Shakib's Kerala win inaugural T10 League
Shakib Al Hasan's Kerela Kings defeated the Punjab Legends by eight wickets in the final to take home the trophy of the inaugural T10 Cricket League at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Bangladesh's ace all-rounder played the most limited of roles throughout the tournament. He managed just seven runs in his four matches and after being given the ball yesterday leaked 31 runs as Punjab posted 120 for three.
Luke Ronchi's 34-ball 70 powered Punjab but the total proved to be far too simple for Kerala's batsmen, who reached home with two overs -- 20 per cent -- of the innings to spare.
PR Stirling was unbeaten on a 23-ball 52 with Eoin Morgan on the other end on a 21-ball 63, a knock that featured five fours and six sixes.
