Stirling gives Ireland flying start
Skipper Paul Stirling gave Ireland a flying start in chase of 125 against Bangladesh in the third and final T20I at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram today.
The veteran batter was 42 off 25 deliveries as the visitors, 2-0 down in the three-match series, moved to 66 for two in eight overs.
Ross Adair (7) and Lorcan Tucker (4) were the batters out, to Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam respectively. But Stirling was in form as he flayed the bowlers all around the park. Earlier, Bangladesh were bowled out for 124 in 19.2 overs despite a maiden fifty from Shamim Hossain.
