Bangladesh had a new man in for the toss -- stand-in skipper Mosaddek Hossain for the injured Nurul Hasan Sohan, but their toss fortune did not change as they lost the toss and sent in to field for the third time in the series during the third T20I against Zimbabwe on Tuesday.

Having chased down the target comfortably in the second match, Mosaddek said he would have opted to bowl first as well and he felt that there were cracks on the wicket, which prompted the team to sacrifice one pacer for a spinner, with Nasum Ahmed returning for Shoriful Islam.

There were two other changes, more signifcant indeed, as left-handed batter Parvez Hossain Emon, who has long waited on the wings, was handed a debut at the expense of Munim Shahriar. Veteran middle-order batsman Mahmudullah, who was not initially in the squad, replaced Sohan.

Zimbabwe, too, made three changes.

Bangladesh: Litton Das(w), Anamul Haque, Parvez Hossain Emon, Afif Hossain, Mahmudullah, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Mosaddek Hossain(c), Mahedi Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman, Nasum Ahmed, Hasan Mahmud
