In-form Moeen arrives to boost Comilla Victorians
After completing his latest national assignment, England all-rounder Moeen Ali reached Dhaka today and joined his Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) franchise Comilla Victorians, confirmed the team management.
This is the second appearance for Moeen in the BPL, where he first played for Duronto Rajshahi back in 2013.
Although England lost the five-match T20I series against West Indies 3-2, the English skipper remained instrumental in their win in the fourth game, in which he scored a blistering 28-ball 63-run knock and also picked up two wickets.
Moeen will join as the fifth foreign signing for Victorians, along with the likes of Faf du Plessis, Cameron Delport, Karim Janat, and Sunil Narine.
With three wins in four games, Comilla is now in the second position at the points table as Moeen is set to be available for the rest of the tournament.
