Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed registered the best-ever bowling figures in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) to help Durbar Rajshahi restrict Dhaka Capitals to 174 for nine in their ongoing game at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur today. 

Taskin's figures of seven for 19 in four overs eclipsed the previous best of six for 17 in the tournament by Pakistan's Mohammad Amir for Khulna Tigers in a game against Rajshahi Royals at the same venue in 2020. 

Taskin also became only the third bowler – after Malaysia's Syazrul Idrus and Netherlands' Colin Ackermann – to pick seven wickets in a T20 game.
