England team arrive in Dhaka

The England cricket team arrived in Dhaka this morning. The 23-member team arrived in the Bangladesh capital in two contingents ahead of starting their training tomorrow.

The Jos Buttler-led England team will play three ODIs and three T20Is against Bangladesh, starting from March 1.

The first two ODIs will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on March 1 and 3 before the final match of the series to be played at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on March 6. The first T20I will be played in Chattogram on March 9 before the final two games of the T20I series in Dhaka on March 12 and 14.

The England team will return on March 15.

This is the first time since 2016 that the England cricket team are visiting Bangladesh.
