Netherlands elect to bat against Sri Lanka
The Netherlands won the toss and elected to bat in their World Cup game against Sri Lanka in Lucknow today.
The Dutch, who pulled a shock win over South Africa in their previous game, made no change to their eleven from that stunning 38-run victory for this match.
However, Sri Lanka, who lost all three of their World Cup encounters so far, made two changes as Dushan Hemantha and Kausn Rajitha replace Dunith Wellalage and Lahiru Kumara, respectively.
Sri Lanka, at the bottom of the 10-team table, are the only team to have not won a game yet in this edition of the World Cup.
Meanwhile, Dutch batter Teja Nidamanuru said yesterday that it will not be an "upset" if his team defeat Sri Lanka today and keep alive their bid to reach the Cricket World Cup semifinals.
