Upendra Nath Shil is almost eighty. And for the last many, many decades he has woken up each morning, cleaned the dust off of his bicycle and was on his way to provide his services as a barber in Lalmonirhat.

The residents of Mogalhat, a border village of Lalmonirhat, are to this day treated to a salon service that is provided right at their doorstep.

Upendra Nath Shil is not the only one barber who cycles around and provides his services to the villagers.

There are many more such barbers in the area and they provide their services for a mere Tk 8-10.
