Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) published their Fact-Finding Report, "Human Rights Violations and Abuses related to the Protests of July and August 2024 in Bangladesh". While launching the report at a press conference in Geneva today, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk said, "Crimes against humanity have been committed."

UN rights commission also finds systematic abuse by former ministers, Awami League leaders, and law enforcement agencies.
