Protests in CHT over attacks on indigenous people
Indigenous students and community members demonstrated in Rangamati, Khagrachari, and Bandarban following an attack by members of an organisation called "Students for Sovereignty" on a programme in Dhaka.
The event in Dhaka had been organised to demand the reinstatement of graffiti featuring the word "Adivasi" in the Class IX-X textbooks.
