Most major political parties in the country have shown strong non-confidence towards the search committee for the next Election Commission.
Fifteen registered political parties including the BNP, CPB, NAP, have not submitted recommendations for the next EC and stated that submitting names would be meaningless as the president has to consult with the prime minister for the appointment ultimately.
