When will we stop pointing lasers on airplanes?

Pilots of various local and foreign airlines have complained that people are quite often and frequently targeting lasers on planes during landing or takeoffs at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Pilots are saying there could be a major accident due to these laser beams. Who are pointing these lasers on aeroplanes? What steps can be taken by the authorities to stop the laser beam menace?
