Public awareness on the wane on 6th day of 'strict lockdown'

As the strict lockdown was extended till July 14, lack of general awareness among people about the severity of Covid-19 situation has become evident on the streets.

In several important areas of Dhaka, and on the streets of Barishal, law enforcers fined and administered punishments to those who broke safety guidelines. In Manikganj and Chattogram, gathering of people has increased along with the number of vehicles on the roads. Police forces were active along with army personnels on the streets of Rajshahi.
