Nasum in as Tigers opt to bowl against SL

Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan won the toss and decided to bowl first against Sri Lanka in their second Asia Cup Super-Four encounter at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo today. 

Bangladesh made one change from their last match against Pakistan as spinner Nasum Ahmed came in for Afif Hossain.

"It's a must win game but we need to get our basics right. I think it might be a little different to Pakistan so we need to adjust very well. Nasum Ahmed in for Afif Hossain," said Bangladesh skipper Shakib.

Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka said he would have batted first. It's a good batting tracks and there will be some movement under the lights, according to Shanaka and the Lankan skipper expects some turn in the evening." Sri Lanka are unchanged.

Following a seven-wicket drubbing against Pakistan in their first Asia Cup Super Four encounter in Lahore on Wednesday, Bangladesh will look to keep their Asia Cup destiny in their own hands in the crucial tie.

Bangladesh have already played Sri Lanka in the tournament in Pallekele in their first Group B fixture, where the Tigers suffered a five-wicket defeat.

Bangladesh playing eleven: Mohammad Naim Sheikh, Mehedi Hasan Miraz, Liton Das, Towhid Hridoy, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shamim Hossain Patwary, Nasum Ahmed, Taskin Ahmed, Hasan Mahmud, Shoriful Islam.
