Sabnam Faria is a household name today, thanks to her chirpy nature and trendy looks. She was first noticed on @18, a telefilm that attracted the youth back in 2013. Later on, Faria began working in ad-films, along with becoming a regular on television. Her very recent work, Monkey Business, earned her praises and admiration for her spontaneity. Sabnam Faria takes out some time from her busy Eid schedule to speak to the Star Weekend.
What are the three things you would take with you to a deserted island?
My Phone with unlimited charge and head phones, lots of story books and my side pillow (kolbalish).
If you were given a chance to play a role in an old film, which role and which film would that be?
I want to play the role of Lucy in Fifty first dates, Anna Scott from Notting Hill and Paro from Devdas.
What is your favourite midnight snack?
Chips with a bite of dark chocolate and a sip of coke.
Which director or directors would you like to work with in the future?
Mostafa Sorwar Farooki, Animesh Aich and Amitabh Reza.
What is your favourite form of exercise?
Walking and dancing,
What is the message you would like to give to all the young people trying to enter your profession?
Focus on your goal. One must not go with the flow. You will succeed if you have the quality, so never stop seeking excellence. Love your job, respect your job and watch lots of movies.
