What was your first script?
It was for a television fiction named "Ami Arupar Kache Jaachi."
If you were given an opportunity to change something in the past, what would it be?
I wouldn't want to change anything. Rather I would go back to the past and relive the moments again, both good and bad.
What is the film that inspired you to become a film maker?
I derived inspiration from a lot of films. If I have to name one, it would be Ritwik Ghwatak's "Ajantrik". Satyajit Ray's films have also worked as my inspiration.
If given a chance, which famous person would you want to meet?
It would be Lalon. I find his philosophy quite interesting.
What was Meghdol's first song?
Om was the first song we ever played, even before Meghdol was formed. In fact it is Om that helped us to form Meghdol.
If banished to an isolated island, what three things would you take with you?
I would just take my girlfriend and a lot of books. Give me these two, I can survive anywhere.
What is your advice for upcoming film makers?
Keep reading. The more you read, the more ideas you get. Film making is a huge process that requires a lot of research. The more you read, the better your film will be- I can guarantee that.
