A Wild Struggle towards Home

Every year during Eid, millions of Bangladeshis rely on some 300 trains of Bangladesh Railway to reach home to spend their holidays with their loved ones. Their wild struggle to purchase tickets and the desperate rush to get a space in any part of the railway carriages make this holiday journey one of the most exhaustive ones. However, every year Bangladesh railway's initiative to tackle this huge rush remains limited to the deployment of a handful of old, refurbished coaches.     Facts suggest that there will be no exception this year either.
