"They say when you take a picture, you end up saving that moment forever. They are wrong.

Now that I have lived away from Dhaka for about two years, I realise how I've already begun to forget my life in Bangladesh. I realise that there are photographs that I don't even recognise as my own.

I try to process and represent this disconnect that I feel with my home. In an effort to find these photographs, I am trying to confront certain parts of myself as well."
