Stop Genocide!
It was never a war. There was never a battle between two armies. It was plain murder. In the name of stamping out Hamas terrorism, the Israeli army went full scale into terrorizing the people of Gaza. Its drones rained down missiles on homes, on neighbourhoods and into busy streets. Death came swiftly to those who did not deserve to die. Men, women and children were murdered indiscriminately, in the hundreds and then crossing the thousand-figure mark.
The world did nothing as Benjamin Netanyahu and his soldiers committed these war crimes. Homes turned into rubble, schools were blown up, those who did not die suffered with grave wounds in hospitals that ran out of medicine and then became targets of fresh Israeli criminality.
It was genocide all the way. The state of Israel, bereft of morality, turned into a killing machine.
Kenneth Roth, executive director, HRW
Israel was guilty of war crimes, because it repeatedly launched attacks with the knowledge that the number of civilian casualties was likely to be disproportionate to the military gains.
Navi Pillay, UN rights body chief
There seems to be a strong possibility that international law has been violated, in a manner that could amount to war crimes.
Jimmy Carter & Mary Robinson, Ex-presidents of us and ireland
There is no humane or legal justification for the way the Israeli Defence Forces are conducting this war. Israeli bombs, missiles, and artillery have pulverized large parts of Gaza, including thousands of homes, schools, and hospitals. More than 250,000 people have been displaced from their homes in Gaza. Hundreds of Palestinian non-combatants have been killed. Much of Gaza has lost access to water and electricity completely. This is a humanitarian catastrophe. There is never an excuse for deliberate attacks on civilians in conflict. These are war crimes.
