Under the leadership of Kyle Coetzer and the guidance of newly-appointed batting consultant Jonathan Trott, Scotland will commence their T20 World Cup quest against Bangladesh on October 17 in Muscat. The Scottish side hope to prepare for crunch situations and adapt to the high demands of ICC events with the help of former English player Trott's experience. Scotland have seven players who will be playing their maiden World Cup, five players from their squad for the previous edition of the tournament and a host of veterans included in their squad that led to their head coach Shane Burger saying, "This is an experienced, versatile and exciting group of players."
