India have been far and away the best team in the ongoing Asia Cup. There may have been a lot of disgruntled noises from other teams -- including Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza -- hinting at the preferential schedule the world's number one ODI side have been handed, but there is an argument to be made that even the worst of schedules would not have altered the results much.

THIRD TIME LUCKY FOR BANGLADESH?

Shah, Hafeez left out

To be led by Sarfraz Ahmed, Pakistan have named a 16-man squad for the 2018 Asia Cup set to begin in the United Arab Emirates from 15 September.

Shakib's surgery before Asia Cup?

Bangladesh Test and T20I skipper Shakib Al Hasan is suffering from pain on his left little finger, which had sustained an injury during a tri-nation series also comprising of Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka at home in January. Shakib said that he would go for surgery ahead of the Asia Cup that is scheduled to begin on September.
