Yesterday, United Communication organised an incredible event, the first season of "Dhaka Rock Carnival: Shadhin Bangla Betar", which delivered a memorable musical experience to the city.

However, today musicians in particular, are gearing up to make a significant impact in the music scene, inspired by the lyrics of Bob Marley's renowned song, "Get Up, Stand Up".
Bangladeshi artistes and humanitarian activists have come together under the platform Artists Against Genocide to protest the ongoing genocide in Gaza. This fundraising concert titled “To Gaza From Dhaka” will be held at the Hatirjheel Amphitheater on November 24.
It was almost 11:30 pm on the clock but the crowd was still spellbound by the mesmerising performance of Nagar Baul’s James. That is the kind of expectation, one attends a concert with and it was the case yesterday too.
The concert will showcase a total of eight bands, including Warfaze, Avoidrafa, Shonar Bangla Circus, Karnival, Aftermath, Plasmic Knock and AK Rahul. But that’s not all! The biggest attraction of this concert will be the living legend Mahfuz Anam James.
