“Too many trees in rural areas interrupt power supply”

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid today (June 14, 2022) in parliament blamed the excessive number of trees in rural areas and said they are a hindrance to uninterrupted power supply even though, according to the junior minister, there is no deficit of electricity production as per the country’s demand.
