Renowned Nazrul Sangeet artiste Ferdous Ara is set to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s Channel i Music Awards. The prestigious recognition will be presented during a grand ceremony on May 19 at a five-star hotel in Dhaka.
Bangladesh National Film Award recipient Shujeo Shyam, who is also an artiste at the Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra, received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the award ceremony.
At this year's event, the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award would be bestowed upon the distinguished music artiste Sujeo Shyam, a recipient of the Ekushey Padak and the National Award.
The 18th edition of the Channel i Music Awards is set to take place on October 18. During this event, artistes in the music industry will receive awards in 22 different categories at a five-star hotel in Dhaka.
"There has been a slight misunderstanding about my post. Channel i Music Awards is a prestigious ceremony, which comprises various categories– one of which is the Best Music Video award," Shariar Nazim Joy commented on the controversy regarding actors becoming jury members of Channel i Music Awards.
