DIFF calls for screenplay submissions for 2026

Open to filmmakers from across Asia, the lab will select ten finalists whose screenplays will be mentored by international experts during the festival. The top three scripts will receive development funding of TK 500,000, 300,000, and 200,000 respectively.

Badhan joins jury panel for Women Filmmaker Section at DIFF

Azmeri Haque Badhan, known for her powerful portrayals of female characters such as Rehana in “Rehana Maryam Noor” and Sultana in “Guti”, is an active advocate for women's rights.
