While most people in this group are yet to be covered under a general education scheme, those who do attain a degree find it difficult to get suitable jobs. To help people with disabilities find employment in the job market, the Bangladesh Business & Disability Network (BBDN) has been working with its member organisations and other stakeholders in the industry since 2016.

Everest's summit season gets off to a frantic start Monday with at least 30 climbers reaching the peak, including a Chinese double amputee and an Australian who set a new world record.

He comes to the school early in the morning, takes classes and leaves after everybody. His students are ready to follow his words and they feel bored if he is absent for a day. He is Tuhin, a primary school teacher who cannot stand or walk because of polio in his childhood, 34 years back. Overcoming physical challenges, he has made himself close to the heart of teachers and students alike at the West Sitki Primary school in Kathalia under Jhalakathi.
