Director Salzar Rahman used to direct music videos and ad-films. Sharing about the plot of “Kalpurush” he said, "I had visited a medicine shop in Old Dhaka a long time ago. The story of this series came to mind for various reasons from there. Then I wrote the series during the time of Covid-19 quarantine period.”
Chorki has unveiled the first look of "Kaalpurush", featuring Chanchal Chowdhury, Tanzika Amin, and FS Nayeem.
Raka, along with her team, took this initiative to inspire young talents, and as a growing organisation, they have also received warm reception from celebrities as well. Artistes like, FS Nayeem, Sunerah Binte Kamal, Aisha Khan and Russell Rahman also posted videos on the event, and invited people to come and experience the event.
"Jole Jole Tara," starring FS Nayeem and Rafiath Rashid Mithila and directed by Arun Chowdhury, has received the Censor certificate from the Bangladesh Censor Board.
This isn't the first time Nayeem has portrayed a cop, he also drew attention for his role in “Karagar”, as police officer Ashfaque. He nailed the body language of a cop and could effortlessly play the emotional scenes. Meanwhile, Bidya Sinha Mim also did well, playing the role of the gentle and naive Neera, who yearns for her husband Zillur, quite naturally.
