As in previous years, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has invited submissions for full-length and short film proposals to be considered for government grants. While the initial deadline for submitting the story, screenplay, and overall production plan was April 7 at 4pm, it has now been extended to April 27.
On March 6, the government issued a notification for the "Government Grant Policy for Full-Length Film Production, 2025" and the "Government Grant Policy for Short Film Production, 2025”. The new policy includes several important changes aimed at improving the film production process.
