Samsung inks deal for US$380m factory in South Carolina

Samsung Electronics officially announces that the company will build a home appliance factory with US$380 million worth of investment in South Carolina, marking the company’s first major investment in the US since it relocated production facilities for US exports to Mexico in the early 1990s.
