Bangladesh have slipped down one spot and are now ranked 10th in the ICC ODI Rankings after the annual rankings update across three formats by the ICC today.

Afridi reclaims No. 1 spot in ICC Men's ODI Bowler Rankings

Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto (up 11 places to equal 23rd) and Afghanistan all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai (up two spots to equal 31st) also made ground on the list for ODI batters, while West Indies spinner Gudakesh Motie (up one place to equal 14th) and Mehidy Hasan Miraz (up nine rungs to equal 23rd) were among the movers for ODI bowlers.

A new star is born as Bishnoi claims top ranking

Bangladesh spinner Taijul Islam jumps four places to a career-best 14th after his 10-wicket haul and player of the match heroics against the Kiwis in Sylhet in the first Test of the two-match series. Taijul's total of 708 rating points is the highest-ever by a Bangladesh bowler, surpassing Shakib Al Hasan’s 705 achieved in August 2017.
