The probe body formed to investigate Sunday’s Madaripur bus crash, which claimed the lives of 19 people, has identified overspeeding as the primary cause of the accident.
The bus that went off the Dhaka-Bhanga expressway and crashed killing 19 people yesterday should have been taken off the roads four months ago when the authorities suspended its permits following a fatal crash.
At least 24 people were injured in the incident and are undergoing treatment at various hospitals.
