The Dhaka Transport Coordination Authority (DTCA) plans to launch Rapid Pass, the smart ticketing system, on all Hatirjheel circular buses by July 20, 2025, following trial operations which began from July 14.
While the Rapid Pass is meant to eventually serve all forms of transportation services within Dhaka city, right now it can be used to ride the MRT-6 metro rail, and specific BRTC bus services.
