Cat stuck in taxi's grille travels 500 miles in Wales
A cat was found to have travelled over 500 miles while it was trapped in the grille of a taxi. The cat was discovered by a taxi driver named Tom Hutchins in Tonyrefail, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales. A rescue operation ensued, leaving the taxi driver and onlookers astonished.
Hutchings first discovered the cat while going about his daily routine. According to the report, he claims he has no idea how the cat got inside the taxi's encased grille compartment. However, he believes that the cat has travelled at least 500 miles while being stuck inside the vehicle.
Reports state that the cat, named Gizmo, was noticeably stressed when it was being rescued, even scratching Hutchings during the process. Hutchings adds that post-rescue, Gizmo happily climbed onto his shoulders, forming an immediate bond with her rescuer.
It was later discovered that Gizmo is a pet cat from a house in Miskin, which is about 10 miles away from Tonyrefail. Hutchings further adds that he hadn't gone to Miskin in weeks, thus surmising that the cat must have found its way to his car from somewhere else.
Gizmo and its owner have reunited afterwards, though the mystery of how a cat got trapped inside a taxi's grille remains unsolved.
