Tesla, the electric vehicle manufacturer led by Elon Musk, has introduced a distinctive cat bed in China that draws inspiration from the design of the company's forthcoming electric pickup truck, the Cybertruck. The 'Cybertruck Multifunctional Corrugated Cat Nest' is crafted from angular cardboard and features an angular shape reminiscent of the Cybertruck's unique aesthetic.

Exclusive to the Chinese Tesla website, at least for now, the cat bed is designed to accommodate larger felines, boasting a weight capacity of up to 15 kilograms. According to the website, the use of moisture-resistant cardboard in its construction aims to ensure durability. Priced at 89 Chinese Yuan (about $13 USD or about 1500 BDT), the cat bed currently presents a more affordable option among Tesla's other lifestyle merchandise offerings.

Tesla, under Musk's leadership, has a peculiar previous history of venturing into unconventional merchandise, such as the sale of a lightning bolt-shaped 'Teslaquilla' tequila for $250 and the availability of red satin 'S3XY' branded short shorts. Another example is the 'Cybertruck-shaped' dog whistle, priced at 1000 Dogecoin, which is currently featured on the company's website.

The Boring Company, also associated with Musk, has similarly released peculiar items in the past, including flamethrowers and a divisive 'Burnt Hair' perfume.
