Entertainment giant Netflix has announced the appointment of legendary Hollywood action star Arnold Schwarzenegger as its new Chief Action Officer.
In a tongue-in-cheek announcement video released by Netflix, Schwarzenegger expressed his enthusiasm for his new role, stating, "No one loves action as much as I do. That's why I've accepted the big new job as Netflix's Chief Action Officer."
Schwarzenegger, known for his iconic roles in action-packed films such as "Terminator" and "Predator," will not only oversee the development of adrenaline-fueled content but will also make his live-action television series debut in the upcoming Netflix series "FUBAR." Created by Nick Santora, the spy-adventure series is set to premiere on May 25th and boasts an impressive cast, including Emma Brunner, Jay Baruchel, and Gabriel Luna.
Renowned for his larger-than-life persona and iconic roles in the realm of action cinema, Schwarzenegger's entry into the world of streaming services and the corporate world marks a significant milestone for the actor's illustrious career. In a press statement, Netflix highlighted some of the highly anticipated projects viewers can expect under Schwarzenegger's guidance. These include the much-anticipated return of Chris Hemsworth in "Extraction 2", a new season of "The Witcher" starring Henry Cavill, and Gal Gadot's portrayal of an intrepid heroine in "Heart of Stone."
