Transsion opens new factory in Bangladesh

Smart devices and mobile services provider Transsion Holdings has recently inaugurated its ISMARTU factory to meet the growing demand for smart devices in Bangladesh.

The new factory, located in the Meghna Industrial Economic Zone, Narayanganj, was officially opened today, 24th May.

ISMARTU Technology BD Limited is a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings and represents popular smart brands such as TECNO, itel, Infinix, oraimo and Syinix.

The total investment of the first phase of the new ISMARTU factory is about US $22 Million.

The ISMARTU factory, covering an area of over 22,000 square metres, is equipped with the latest technology and adheres to international standards for quality and safety.

The factory is expected to generate employment opportunities for over 2,000 local individuals and contribute to the local economy by supporting career growth within the region.
