Xiaomi launches 14 Ultra

Xiaomi has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, in the global market. Alongside the 14 Ultra, Xiaomi has also launched the photography-focused Xiaomi 14 Series of smartphones and other wearable gadgets.

According to an official statement by Xiaomi, Xiaomi 14 Ultra builds upon the collaborative efforts with German camera manufacturer Leica. The phone boasts a quad-camera setup, with the compact variant, the Xiaomi 14, coming with a triple-camera configuration.

As for other features, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes with a 6.73-inch AMOLED display, a 4 nm Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 mobile platform processor with Qualcomm® Adreno™ GPU, 16 GB RAM, and 512 GB storage. 

As for the camera, it has a 50 MP main camera, 50 MP 75 mm floating telephoto camera, 50 MP 120 mm periscope camera, and 50 MP 12 mm ultra-wide camera; all from Leica.

Xiaomi 14 Series smartphones also come with expansive AI models for diverse applications, including a feature that allows real-time transcriptions during conferences. Another AI-based function enables users to find a photo in their gallery by simply describing the image to the phone.

Alongside the new phones, the company has also introduced a range of new wearable products, such as the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro, Xiaomi Watch S3, and Xiaomi Watch 2: designed to cater to sports, health, and wellness activities.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra is priced at €1,500 (about BDT 178,690) and the Xiaomi 14 is priced at €1,000 (about BDT 119,126).
