International Academy of Film and Media is going to organize an online Master Class on "Critical Writing for Cinema" on 29, 30 and 31 March 2021 from 9 to 11 PM Bangladesh time. This session will focus on various logical endeavors such as what the content consists of and what it lacks, what to be added and what to be discarded in a film,and many more. Film criticism, film journalism and film review will be highlighted in the discussion. During the course there will be film screenings and analysis where the participants will get the opportunity to showcase their expertise by practical work. 

The workshop will be conducted by one of the prominent film critics, journalists and writers of the Indian subcontinent, Dr. Soma Chatterjee. Dr. Soma, the recipient of India's National Film Award for Film Criticism, has been teaching on film in various film schools for a long time in addition to Film Journalism and Criticism. She has written many noteworthy books on several film directors of India. She is still writing on contemporary films and elevating her eloquence on and on.
