‘Bomb maker’ loses wrist in Gazipur

A man had his wrist blown off in a blast while allegedly making crude bombs inside his residence in Gazipur today.

Abdul Alim, 30, was whisked off to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital around 10:15am, reports our Gazipur correspondent quoting Rejaul Hasan Reja, officer-in-charge of Joydebpur Police Station.

Informed by locals after the blast, police rushed to the spot and recovered bomb making materials from the house at East Chandina in the city corporation area, the OC said.
