Mamata terms Dhaka trip successful

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has termed her three-day visit to Bangladesh “very successful”.
“The trip to Dhaka was very successful and I am overwhelmed by the hospitality of the people,” she told reporters at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata last night after returning from Dhaka.
Mamata, who headed a 39-member delegation during the Bangladesh visit, met President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, and discussed Teesta water-sharing deal and land boundary agreement among other issues.
