New Banksy artwork criticises migrant crisis in France
A new artwork by artist Banksy appeared in London outside the French embassy, in reaction to the alleged use of teargas on refugees waiting to cross to England in the French city of Calais.
The artwork portrays the symbol image of Cosette from Les Misérables in tears from the tear gas.
It also contains a barcode which directs to the video of the incident showing how the refugee camp, Jungle, was attacked, the incident which was denied by the French police.
The powerful drawing depicts the persistent migrant crisis in Europe and the mistreatment of the host countries against them.
