GD filed in Gazipur to 'protect goodwill' of viral hit Kakoli Furniture

SM Sohel Rana, chairman of Kakoli Furniture, has filed a general diary in Gazipur's Sreepur Police Station today, alleging misuse of his now viral hit business's name on social media.

In the complaint, Sohel Rana said, "Unidentified individuals have created fake pages and accounts on Facebook and TikTok using our name and logo. They are doing this to take advantage of my shop's popularity."

Sreepur Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Khandaker Imam Hossain said, Kakoli Furniture Chairman SM Sohel Rana claimed that multiple IDs with the same name have been created on different social media platforms.

He filed a general diary today to prevent such type of activities. Cyber security will be informed about this matter, he added.
