World reacts to India’s defeat to New Zealand

As the saying goes “what goes around comes around,” netizens believe Indian cricketer Ravi Chandran Ashwin’s tweet about the Bangladesh v Oman match got a befitting reply after India’s upsetting loss yesterday against New Zealand. 

Cricketer Ashwin tweeted before the BANvOMA match "Can't wait to see the Bangladesh v Oman game. If Bangladesh win, the whole country will be happy but if Oman does Cricket will be happy.”

This drew serious flak from the Bangladeshi fans.

However after yesterday’s INDvsNZ match, where India lost to the Kiwis by 47 runs, cricketing fans went into a frenzy designing memes, tweeting and going wild on various social media platforms!

India’s fiercest rivals on and off the cricket pitch, Pakistan, appeared to enjoy the demise of MS Dhoni’s men more than everyone else. Bangladeshi fans followed suit as well!
