Impact of ‘Komen’ in Ctg (video)
Stormy wind is blowing over Chittagong with moderate rainfall due to cyclone ‘Komen’ in the coastal belt of Chittagong.
Visiting different parts of the port city this morning, our local correspondent found the sea not very rough. However, a good number of trees were uprooted in the storm at different parts of the city including Tiger Pass, Jamal Khan and Patenga.
Chittagong District Administration remained cautious to tackle the cyclone. In coastal areas, people were asked to take shelter in the cyclone centres.
A central control room headed by the district relief and rehabilitation officer was opened to combat the cyclone.
