Bollywood mourns death of legendary actress Sridevi
The entire Bollywood and television industry is shocked by the news of Sridevi's sudden demise.
The veteran Bollywood actor Sridevi Kapoor, considered by many to be one of the biggest names in Hindi cinema, died after suffering a heart attack in Dubai on Saturday night. She was 54.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. The news of her death was confirmed by her brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor. He told The Indian Express that "Yes, it is true that Sridevi has passed away. It happened roughly around 11:00-11:30. I don't know more details yet", he added.
Sridevi was with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi Kapoor in the UAE udring this inicdent.
Indian Prime Minister along with many media personal expressed their grif on the loss of her death.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted his condolences by saying that he was, "Saddened by the untimely demise of noted actor Sridevi..."
