Erroneous ‘Mary Christmas’ wish from Malaysia Airports goes viral
Malaysia Airports has apologised for an erroneous Christmas and New Year wish bunting that misspelled "Mary Christmas" and "Happy New Years".
The red-coloured bunting was displayed in front of an airport in Kota Bahru reads "Wishing you Mary Christmas & Happy New Years" with "Merry" and "Year" misspelled.
A photo of the bunting went "viral" on social media that gave rise to criticism from netizens who were disappointed over the typo and grammatical error.
Malaysia Airports said they have removed the bunting from the airport upon discovering the error on Saturday.
Later on Thursday they apologized for the mistake and thanked the public for highlighting the issue to them.
They also uploaded a Facebook status in this regard which said "We extend our apologies, and wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,".
