7th convocation of Southeast University held

The 7th Convocation of the Southeast University (SEU) was held yesterday at Bangabandhu International Convention Center. Education Minister Dipu Moni conferred the degrees upon the graduating students.

Writer and educationist Prof Muhammed Zafar Iqbal delivered the convocation speech.

A total of 1,302 students who graduated from the university attended the convocation.

Among others, Rezaul Karim, chairperson of the Board of Trustees, Southeast University Trust; and Vice Chancellor Prof AFM Mafizul Islam spoke. Registrar Maj Gen Kazi Fakhruddin Ahmed (Retd), conducted the entire programme.
