3-day-long Kids Time Fair kicks off at Shishu Academy
The Kids Time Fair, Bangladesh's largest event celebrating children's creativity, kicked off yesterday at the Shishu Academy premises.
Tahmina Rahman, the founder of Kids Time, inaugurated the event by releasing colourful balloons at 9:00am, accompanied by children.
The three-day fair offers many activities, including Goofi's puppet show, a magic show, and special games focussed on nutrition and safe food. Additionally, there are engaging cultural programmes featuring children's dance, songs, and poetry recitations.
The fifth edition of Kids Time is supported by various partners, Grameen Danone Shokti as the nutrition partner, ToguMogu as the parenting partner, Polar as the ice cream partner, Dettol as the hygiene partner, Chopstick as the snacks partner, Paper Fly as the logistics partner, and Goofi World as the Entertainment partner.
On the first day, around 10,000 children of various ages, along with their guardians, attended the fair.
Several schools from different parts of Dhaka also participated.
Notable figures such as Ayman Sadiq, founder of Ten Minute School, Umme Maisun, a popular English teacher on YouTube, and Shuvasish Bhowmick, conducted insightful parenting sessions.
The fair was designed not only for children but also for parents. Tahmina emphasised that one of the goals of the fair is to inform parents about creativity, safe food, and nutrition.
