Jawaan is a story about what happens when a common citizen protests against repeated injustices perpetrated by the system.

Directed by Atlee Kumar, Jaawan stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and many others. No one in SRK's  long career has presented him in front of the audience like Atlee has. Jawan also makes an important political statement, which is wrapped in over-the-top entertainment. In this, Jawan is different from other movies and SRK is also seen in a different perspective.
